Meet Bryan

"I started to DJ around 2011. I’m from Southern Maryland. I moved to PA to support my wife while she attended law school. She eventually decided it wasn’t for her but we decided to stay in PA and have since built a family here. I love to DJ because I love facilitating a spectacular experiencing for all those in attendance. Every couple is unique and it’s fun working with them to build an event that will bring them joy. For fun, I love to read. Anytime I'm not working or spending time with my family, you'll find me with a book in my hands."

"I don’t think their is a genre of music I don’t like. Most of the time i’m listening to LoFi beats while working, but when i’m prepping for weddings I’m looking through our music services and at Top 40 sites to see what then newest most popular songs are."

"My favorite part of a wedding is that time half an hour or so before the end of the night where the energy builds. You can feel the love that all the guests have from the bride and groom. If I can’t have everybody hoarse from singing so loud in the last 15 mins, then I haven’t done my job."

Bryan from Mixed-Up was awesome! We didn’t give him much direction with our song requests and he picked the perfect songs for our wedding! He also did the music for our ceremony and it was perfect! Mixed-Up also has a huge library of songs to search from and gives you top songs for different dances like the mother son and father daughter dances. We also had kids at our wedding and all the songs Bryan played were kid friendly, even some Disney songs were played!

We used Mixed Up Productions for our wedding in June, and we had a great experience! Our dj was Bryan Bumpers and he was absolutely fantastic. He has the perfect personality for his job- easygoing, patient, flexible, and a great sense of how to get people dancing and having a good time. He was also very timely with response to emails which was helpful. Mixed up productions was easy to work with and we felt the cost was reasonable for what they offer. Highly recommend, especially Bryan!
